Rage is back

Anyone younger than 35 should be able to recall the great success of Rage Against the Machine in the nineties, and also the tremendous impact Rage had on our politics as young people. We couldn't vote, but would could say, "Fuck You I Won't Do What You Tell Me." They made us aware of the imperfect nature of our nation as it stands today. The lyrics of Zach De La Rocha revealed a world once draped and hidden away in history. They exposed the lies and corruption of corporate America, and helped us realized that as people we have the power to band together and oppose injustice.

Now we are all grown up—some with kids and some not—all the while still carrying a small piece of that with us through life. Now we are no longer the punk teens moshing at those concerts; we are now the professionals who run the workforce and the great Americans that have sacrificed so much in Iraq. We are now the poor and the rich, the multi-colored and multi-cultural, the weak and the strong. All thanks to great speakers, poets, and musicians like Rage Against the Machine. We have less of an excuse to be as apathetic as previous generations. While artists of the past have drawn idealistic pictures of a better world using poetic and artistic images, the new generation of blunt and direct artists and musicians has a bit more of an edge, and, dare I say, a better chance at defeating the slimy and greedy hypnosis over America. This givies us a better chance of realizing our greater role as innovators.

Next time you hear somebody regurgitatiing this catch phrase, catch them off guard by agreeing with them and let them in on some of these fun facts.

McCain wants you to suck it up....

McCain doesn't think the housing crisis is his or the government's problem. It must be nice to be in such a luxurious position.

He also wants to raise taxes on the middle class read more

Kucinich presents impeachment articles for Bush!

This event got little news coverage. I thought I'd at least help show what happened. Kucinich successfully laid out the ground work for a full impeachment. Too bad no one has the guts to do it, Dem or Republicon.

Obama is the First African-American Democratic nominee for president.

Tonight Barack Obama finally clinched the official number of delegates needed to secure the nomination. It's already been a long road, but, it has been worth it. Our guy has finally made it, and he did it by playing fair and sticking to his principles. Not to mention, he has run a historically unprecedented campaign raising millions of dollars in way no one has before that others such as John McCain and Ron Paul are trying to duplicate this donating style.

One more time:

Yes We Can!

Much respect goes out to Hillary and her supporters for being such tough activist. It is time to use the fiery energy to oust John McCain's Presidential bid. We need all the help we can get to defeat the war machine and a third Bush term. I know many things were said we may regret, but, it's time to really mo wake up to the reality we face. Three supreme court justice spots will become available within the next Presidency and we cannot afford to have McCain appoint a fully corporate leaning supreme court. I know you may be mad now, but you will be livid if the supreme court makes more rulings like Roberts and Scalia. Tell me what it is you need for reconciliation.

To all democrats thinking of voting for McCain

There isn't much to not like about Obama unless you want to hop on Sean Hannity's band wagon. Next time you bring up Wright or Erres , you continue on the dialog that was started by Hannity and O'reilly. No one was talking about them before Hannity and O'reilly brought it up. Since then it's become an issue and you should be embarrassed clinging to FOX talking points in such a way. Please stop parroting FOX and get fired up!

You freaked out yet? 'Cause I'm straight trippin'

There over 800 prison camps in the United States, all fully operational and ready to receive prisoners. They are all staffed and even surrounded by full-time guards, but they are all empty. These camps are to be operated by FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) should Martial Law need to be implemented in the United States and all it would take is a presidential signature on a proclamation and the attorney general's signature on a warrant to which a list of names is attached. Ask yourself if you really want to be on Ashcroft's list. The Rex 84 Program was established on the reasoning that if a "mass exodus" of illegal aliens crossed the Mexican/US border, they would be quickly rounded up and detained in detention centers by FEMA. Rex 84 allowed many military bases to be closed down and to be turned into prisons.

-9 cents stamp increase during the Bush Administration
-wiretapping
-torture
-pardoning criminals
-and many more illegal acts under a Republican administration.
Don't vote John McCain for president!

America kicks Ass!

Matt Taibbi has a new book!

This new book by Matt Taibbi is great read for all of us who are frustrated by the constant BS that comes from media outlets. Even better for those who can't stand to hear a Bill O'reilly or W. Bush Line regurgitate itself in a normal casual conversation being had between two people in the real world.

The people spoke up for themselves last night....

There is debate going on in the media over who won the debate, Obama or Hillary. The real losers of the night were those pesky hosts. The crowd let them know how well they did has moderators. The ultimate loss of the night was everyone watching the debate and actually giving it credence as a real debate. This was sham night over personal and downright invasive and badgering questions about issues that don't matter to the american people. Apparently this didn't sit well with the good people of Pennsylvania either.

Show Solidarity with Tibet and the Dalai Lama

This beautiful culture has been enslaved for too long. Support all Olympic business, celebrities, athletes and sponsors who continue to put pressure on China to free Tibet.

Something to consider...

It is worth pointing out that American voters have a choice this November to either let this war keep perpetuating itself by going with McCain, or we have yet another chance to start heading in the right direction. The beautiful thing about this democracy of ours is that every few years we get a chance to throw a spoke in the a big wheel. Any legal citizen has the opportunity to come together and make an impact on the future direction of this country.
While there may be opposition at every corner, thanks to this democracy, this year more than ever we have a chance. They no longer have a monopoly on what is on your TV screen. Use the internet and next gen technology to push the ignorance out of american society while we still have the freedom to do so. The more accurate and truthful the information is, the less power the sheeple have to perpetuate the cycle of sheep marching behind King George and the new King John. It is time for knowledge and truth to make a comeback.

The FOX Machine is Relentless

For some reason, regardless of the fact the Obama is ahead in delegates, 1418 - 1251, and ahead in the popular vote, FOX insists that Obama is hurting from the bad press. Considering that Sean Hannity started this whole mess by drilling his viewers and listeners on Jeremiah Right every chance he had, but, he and others like Laura Ingaharam and Bill Oreilly hit this point several times on every show, everyday.

This video is from just two shows on one given night; March 27

Their is definately something weird about the striking parallelism between the relentless opinions these newscasters and talking heads have compared with the business interests of the very rich.

A Parable

Recently the Clinton campaign decided to side with Florida and Michigan and say their delegates should be seated at the upcoming convention. Sound simple enough? It's not. Hillary was apparently running against herself in Michigan. Guess what? She won!

Now that Obama has a huge lead in delegates(1411 - 1250) The Clinton Camp needs any and every vote to stand a chance so they will do whatever it takes which includes doing as much damage to the Democratic party as possible by questioning the credibility and fairness of an honest and open process.

Florida and Michigan knew their elections weren't legitimate. If they want a seat they simply have to hold a legitimate election approved by the Democratic Party or wait until the General Election.
